UP TO DATE MEASLES INFORMATION
1) If you think that you have measles or have been in contact with a confirmed case of measles, please call us first before coming in. When you arrive for a consultation, please stay in your car and communicate with us by phone until a doctor or nurse calls you in.
2) Please do not walk in for measles immunisation (MMR) without an appointment as you may be asked to make an appointment at a later date as we need to prioritise our vulnerable children. We are experiencing high demand and the wait can be up to 2 weeks. 3) We are able to only immunise our enrolled patients despite of media statement that you can go to any GP because we do not have enough vaccines. Those who are not our enrolled patients need to go to their own registered doctors or go to the drop in clinics as per below
4) As per MOH, we can only give MMR vaccines to the following
Those > 50 years old are considered immune due to natural immunity when the vaccine was not yet developed. Those <50 years old are immunised depending on the country that they grew up in.
